GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper, or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.• Locate the head in advance and draw its approximate size using an oval • Draw 1 horizontal line above the head. From above, draw another line equal to the height of the head. • Draw 1 horizontal line under the head. Below it, add 2 more lines at the height of the head. • Use a vertical line to cut the head in half. To the left and right of the head, draw a line: -on the left 2 lines equal to the width of the head -on the right 2 lines equal to the width of the head.

STEP 7. Draw nostrils and pupils. Work on the background. Sketch the fence and the ground behind.

STEP 8. Detail the drawing. Add lines to the clothes and background.

STEP 9. Check that there are no extra lines in the drawing. Contour person, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line.
